Foxes suffer third defeat in four as Chelsea win at the King Power

It was always going to be a tough start to the season for Leicester, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea to face in their first four games, and the Foxes slumped to their third defeat as the Blues emerged 2-1 winners at the King Power.

For Chelsea, the goals came through new summer signing Alvaro Morata and former Leicester medio N’Golo Kante. Leicester’s solitary goal came from the penalty spot through Jamie Vardy

Leicester are now 17th in the league table with 3 points from 4 games, just ahead of West Ham on goal difference. The Hammers claimed their first win on Monday night and moved off the bottom of the table after beating Huddersfield 2-0.
