Jamie Vardy’s strike saw Leicester end Sheffield United’s Cup run and saw the Foxes book a last eight tie against Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who beat Hull City 4-0 in their fifth round tie at the Bridge.

Leicester have not won in seven previous FA Cup ties against Chelsea, almost dating back to a century (1920). This will be their eighth attempt, and the last time they reached the quarters of this tournament, it was the Blues who knocked them out.

The quarterfinals look set to ones involving only PL teams, unless Rochdale upset Spurs in their replay at Wembley, Wednesday beat Swansea, and Wigan pull off a dramatic result against in form Man City on Monday night. Apart from the Foxes and the Blues, Man Utd, Brighton and Southampton have booked their spots in the last eight.

Leonardo Ulloa will be back at the AMEX Stadium after a gap of three and a half years following Leicester’s decision to loan him to Brighton till the end of the season. The Argentine forward joined the Foxes from the Seagulls back in 2014, but has struggled for first team time this season, being left on the bench for important games, like their Cup quarterfinal against Man City. He has not started a single PL game in 2017/18, and has been restricted to a grand total of 18 minutes from the bench.

Ulloa was the first player to score a hat trick at the AMEX and is highly rated by Brighton supporters, who will be hoping that the 31 year old can have a similar impact in his second stint
